Project Description
What does the project do and how does it work?
Kyocera and LO3 have set up a virtual power plant using 100 solar photovoltaic modules with a total capacity of 26kW connected to a 3kW and 12 kW battery storage system. The energy produced is controlled through LO3 Energy's blockchain-based Exergy platform, enabling consumers to share the power over the a connected to a microgrid. The project intends to use the smart network and remotely controlled distributed power sources to create a peer-to-peer distributed energy consensus network.
